KS 2 Cross Country

Today saw 17 children from KS 2 tackle the cross country at Taverham Hall.

The children said that it was a tough course but they all did an absolutely amazing job. A special congratulations goes to Kieran, Hayden and Daisy who have progressed onto the next round in March 👏 and also to Matilda who received the determination award.

As always we were bursting with pride at how these children conducted themselves, not just with their fellow team mates but with other children competing as well.

Well done team Stibbard, you really are ALL awesome!

KS 1 Cross Country Event

Children from year 1 and 2 got to compete in a cross country event held at Taverham today. It’s their first taste of a schools sporting event, and despite it being a bit chilly, the children all had a fantastic day and did themselves and the school proud.

Well done KS1

Making Viking Villages

Year 5 have been busy making Viking villages to show Year 4 with the aim to enthuse Year 4 about learning Vikings next year. They researched using chrome books, discussed their designs and had to cooperate in their group to make it. Lots of listening, negotiation and cooperation. Lots of mess along the way and the results are wonderful.

Please be aware that on Thursday 17th October we will be holding our At The Market Themed Lunch ( See the link below for details). The Chicken and Mushroom Pie WILL NOT be available to order. The Pasta, Jacket Potato and Pick n Mix options will remain the same as will all Medical Diet Menus.

West Stow Anglo Saxon Village

We have had a lovely day at West Stow learning about The Anglo Saxons and furthering our knowledge of them. We looked at artefacts, the children explored houses and discovered that extended families all lived together. They were fascinated by the museum and loved trying on clothes from the era.

Well done Year 4, a great first visit out. I’m really pleased with you.

There are more photos which I’ll try and make a folder for. Please do not share these and post on social media.

Year 4 West Stow

We’ve had a great day, the rain has held off and even the coats have stayed off!

We have just left and will update you later about our arrival time. As a guide it could be 4.45ish.
