Good Morning Year 1!
Well done on completing some wonderful work yesterday! You have four challenges to complete today – Please find the Powerpoint on our classes webpage or Seesaw to support you with your learning.
Phonics – Challenge 1:
Watch the Letters and sound video and write down some words that include the sound.
You will be exploring the phonemes, ea, e-e and ee – you will find out that you can pronounce the sound with a single phoneme, digraph (2 letters 1 sound) or a split digraph (a sound which has two letters but it is split up by another sound).

Write down three different words which include the sound.
Write your own sentence using at least one word that includes the sound.

English – Challenge 2:
Story Sequencing
On the powerpoint there is a Little Red Riding Hood story sequencing template. Cut out the pictures and put them in the correct place. If you can’t print this off – do not worry, draw the pictures in order.
Find the supporting resource on the Powerpoint.
Cut and stick them in the correct place or draw the pictures in the correct order.
Maths – Challenge 3:
Applying Make 10 to differences (Part 2)
Like in yesterday’s lesson you will be using the knowledge of number bonds to 10 to help us workout out the difference of numbers by making 10.

Geography – Challenge 4:
Draw a birds eye view picture of a room in your house.
Think back to the wonderful learning you did past half term about birds eye view and reading maps.
