It was lovely to take the children on the trip to Norwich today. We walked along the river and talked about how it was used in the past and how it is used today. We looked at the features of the old houses in the cathedral grounds and imagined what life was like in the past. After our walk, we listened to a talk in the cathedral about Dippy and learned about Dippy’s teeth, diet and lifestyle. The children were very engaged, asked relevant questions and gave thoughtful answers. I was so proud of them especially when our guide complimented them on their knowledge and good behaviour.
Well done Year 6!
