Space paper!

If you have any unwanted space themed wrapping paper, pictures from the newspaper or from magazines that you could bring into School we would be most grateful. Pupils are having a space themed book week this year and we would like them to make various items as part of the week.

Year 3 survivor day.

Year 3 had a fantastic day at Sheringham Park learning all about how people survived in Stone Age times. They made shelters collected wood and built fires. The children had to work together to survive. It was a great day and the children from Stibbard and North Elmham were complimented on their behaviour by both staff and members of the public, which is always lovely.

Stone Age art

Year 3 have been looking at cave paintings and learning techniques to create a similar result. On Wednesday they spent part of the day creating their Stone Age cave art.

Good weather for our trip!

It looks like it is going to be a dry day for the Year 3 trip today! 🙂
Remember warm non uniform and a coat, we are outside all day. You also need a packed lunch and a drink.
See you soon!

Two heads are better than one!

Y6 and Y3 came together this afternoon to work on a joint document. Y6 children did an excellent job of teaching Y3 how to create and insert a drawing into the document improving their communication skills. Y3 loved having Y6 help them and show them what to do. There was a fantastic collaborative atmosphere and the documents produced are excellent.

Socktastic!

Before Christmas Sophie in year 3 asked for help collecting items to fill socks for the homeless. She has asked that I post her thanks for everyone’s generosity in sending in items and money for this. It enabled her to fill 36 socks and she really appreciated your support.
Thank you from Sophie
