BELIEVE, ACHIEVE, BELONG

Year 2 Visit Amazona Zoo

Year 2 had the most fantastic day at the zoo. All the class were fantastic role models for Stibbard, and were complemented on their behaviour and manners. The children were fascinated by the animals, they loved reading the information plaques and applying their animal kingdom knowledge throughout the day.

Family Carol & Crib Service

All Saints Church, Stibbard are very supportive of our school. It would be great if any of our families were able to attend and support the Family Carol and Crib Service on Christmas Eve at 4pm. Please read their message about this service below.

Our traditional Christmas Eve service of carols, crib and nativity will take place at 4pm, as usual.
If your child would like to be an angel or a shepherd in our very simple tableau, please come along to our rehearsal on Tuesday 21st December at 10.30am. For Covid safety, we are requesting that you provide your own simple costumes this year – just plain joggers and t shirt with a tea towel headress for shepherds, or white clothes and tinsel halo for angels.
We will also be accepting gifts of dry and tinned groceries and toiletries for the Fakenham food bank. You may leave these in the church any day from 13th December.
Please do get in touch if you would like more information.  In line with the updated Covid regulations the adult congregation are required to wear masks, unless exempt. We will be singing carols loudly through our masks, and hope you can join us!

Keeping warm on Welly Day

There has been a noticeable drop in temperature this week.  We will continue to go out for our Welly Day sessions as they are so valuable for all of our children.

At school we have waterproof trousers, but please make sure that your child brings their wellies, has a warm coat, a hat, gloves and an extra pair of socks.  It is the toes and the fingers which tend to get cold first!

We have many ways to keep warm, through keeping active, lighting fires and having a warm drink, but you can’t beat suitable clothing!  Please be reassured that if I feel that children are getting too cold we will always come in to warm ourselves up.
