We have had a lovely calm afternoon in year 4 making Christingles, the temptation to eat the sweets was a little too much, however we made sure there  was enough to enjoy a few!The Christingle is used as a symbolic object during Advent, Christmas and Epiphany services. The origin of the word is German, Christkindl, meaning Little Christ Child and is used to celebrate Jesus Christ as the Light of the world.
