BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

Year 1

Welcome to the Year 1 Class Page!

Myself - Mr Arter, Mrs Howe-Ward and Mrs Morant are looking forward to this school year being a great success!

Our classroom will be a welcoming environment that is based on positive attitudes to learning. We will encourage the children to take responsibility for their work whilst we work as a team to build relationships with each other.

In Year 1, we try our best to become confident readers, creative writers and imaginative problem solvers! We will work together in a play based environment where the children will be able to use the skills and knowledge we have learnt in lessons and apply it to real life situations.

We are looking forward to the year ahead where we can all be creative, caring and daring whilst we strive to be the best we can be.

See you in September,
The Year 1 Team!
