In Year 2 we love books, books and more books! Listening to and reading stories, non-fiction and poems, discussing them and borrowing ideas for our writing. We are always ready for new challenges, try our best and never give up! We enjoy many subjects which help our brains and bodies to develop in lots of different ways! We are readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, historians, geographers, artists, designers, musicians, sports heroes and much much more!
The Norfolk Music Hub who provide our instrumental lessons in our schools, are offering a great range of activities for children during February half term. Take a look! All the sessions are free, you just need to sign up your children using the link below. https://www.norfolkmusichub.org.uk/site/february-half-term-workshops Happy Music Making! Mrs Budgett
Year 2 have been using Jane Considine methods to learn all about poetry and poetic techniques at home. All of the children wrote their own individual poem and then we sentence stacked this poem together! Well done for your ‘FANTASTIC’ally hard work Year 2! You should be so proud of yourselves.
Mrs Cairns has set some Welly Day Challenges for you which you can find on this slide show. There are two activities, you can choose which one you would like to do or even try both! Have fun!
