Welcome to Year 6 and your final year at Stibbard All Saints. Year 6 is a year of opportunities and greater responsibility as you act as role models for the younger children in the school. Our spacious classroom is tidy and well organised with working walls and resources designed to support your learning and celebrate it. Reading is evidently promoted and valued with an inviting well stocked reading area bulging with books by classic and modern authors, fascinating non fiction and well thumbed annuals. It is our intention that your last year in primary is a memorable one where you thrive and prepare for your transition to secondary school.
In the event of another lockdown and children need to stay at home, below is an outline of 2 weeks planning for Year 6 to complete remotely. Year 6 were inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, a land artist whose art outdoors in nature is temporary but captured on camera for the world to see. We ventured into the outdoor area and the children worked cooperatively to forage for natural objects to make their piece of art. They had lots of fun.

On Monday the KS2 children had a special assembly to understand Holocaust Memorial Day. They were amazing, they listened well and some children gave very thoughtful and factual contributions.
