Originally this one school was actually three schools! The little Victorian building at Guist closed in the 1980s with the children joining those at Great Ryburgh and All Saints. All Saints became the Infant section whilst the Juniors attended Great Ryburgh with staff driving between the two. Both schools were Victorian and set in the heart of each village but were no longer fit for purpose.
After many years of dedicated effort to secure a suitable site and the necessary finance our purpose-designed school was opened in April 2006. As a Church of England School we were fortunate to have the backing of the Diocese of Norwich. Since then the building has been remodelled in 2009 and an additional wing added in 2012, enabling us to accommodate up to 210 pupils.
Today our school has 200 pupils organised into seven classes – one class for each year group. Facilities are excellent; we have a superb hall with a sprung floor, ideal for PE. There is also a library, music room, activity room with cookery and design technology equipment, meeting room and offices.
Outside there are ample playing fields with an all-weather running track, two playgrounds, a wildlife area with bird hide and pond, a greenhouse, vegetable and ornamental gardens and an outdoor classroom.
Alongside is All Saints Nursery which also provides out-of-school care as well as nursery facilities.
