Year 4 have been foraging for blackberries. They collected so many from the bottom of the school field. We added them to warm water and left them soaking overnight. This morning we sieved the blackberries and squeezed as much juice as possible from them. Next we laid white felt in our tray of juice to dye it pink ready to make our Anglo Saxon purses. We have left them to dry throughout the day and think they will need the weekend too. We are really pleased with the progress so far.
