BELIEVE, ACHIEVE, BELONG

Year 4 Catch up

Year 4 have been so busy. The class are settling well and are keen to now work hard.
We have had three weeks of Celebration rewards, well done to everyone who has received one, plus we have had three pen licences for children who are forming correctly and joining up theirs letters.

We have been learning about the story of Moses, we retold it and ordered the story line to help our understanding. In maths we have been looking at 4 digit numbers, comparing them and using manipulatives to help our understanding of place value. In our Welly day session we have tried to create colouring to decide which natural ingredients will help dye material to make an Anglo Saxon purse. Unfortunately this week is our final session, year 4 have really enjoyed them.

Finally, today we drank hot chocolate to get us inspired with our creative writing concerning the BFG. We though about superlatives for the smell and taste.
