Year 4 Christmas countdown has begun! We decorated the tree together as a class before preparing the Nativity scene. We talked about the characters and why we are not adding the Wise men to the scene until we return in January (they had a very long journey to make following the star and had to take diversions to avoid King Herod, they didn’t arrive until the 13th day after his birth.)

We found the relevant stories at the start of The New Testament and have left them open to read. We also started our chocolate advent calendars kindly donated by one of our parents… thank you!
